JOB PURPOSE:
 
Join a creative, talented, and dynamic team that is working to shape the future of teaching and learning. As part of the Equire, the eLearning Project Manager will play a vital role in leading projects to incorporate technology into teaching and learning at the Equire. 

Manage large and complex projects with high performance risk, driving projects to completion. May manage more than one large project simultaneously. Work is typically comprised of 80% time contribution towards project leadership and 20% as a technical contributor.

CORE DUTIES*:

  • Perform the full range of project management cycle: initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing.

  • Lead and direct projects requiring high levels of functional integration and involving multiple disciplines to be managed. This role works closely with Equire faculty, other subject matter experts, Instructional Designers, Video Producers, Motion Graphic Designers, eLearning Developers and managers.

  • Direct development of an action plan, and estimate requirements for resources, including management, labor, and time required to complete project.

  • Facilitate discussions and negotiations to drive recommendation consensus.

  • Develop and help execute comprehensive change management strategy and communication plan relative to project scope and stakeholders; orchestrate and lead change management methodologies underlying project success.

  • Manage scope/expectations, resources, time (tasking planning and prioritization)

  • Escalate visibility to risks; offers solutions and drives issues to resolution

  • Maintain routine communications with project team, managers and provide project updates at department-wide PM report meetings

  • Coordinate QA resources and manage QA timeline

Job Description

The role is crucial in the learning design and solution development phase for all service offerings provided by Equire Learning. This position will be pivotal in establishing a robust and quality driven learning service catalogue including digital learning deployment and incorporating latest industry advances in instructional design.

The position liaises with Learning Project Managers (LPM), Capability Building Partners (CBP) and Subject Matter Experts (SME) to design and author learning solutions from the complex to the very simple employing adult learning theory, appropriate didactic methods, experiential learning and digital technology.

Major Accountabilities:

  • Applies solid instructional design methodology, including adult learning theory, interactive activities, and competency-based evaluations to produce high quality, interactive learning solutions.

  • Authors e-learning modules using tools such as Articulate, Captivate, Flash, Lectora.

  • Liaises with LPM’s and CBP’s and other stakeholders to review and agree solutions and add value.
